AM 840 KMPH The Patriot Continues To Grow In Modesto!

AM 840 KMPH The Patriot continues to grow with the addition of Rob Johnson In The Mornining in February of 2009. Rob Johnson, together with news anchor Tim St. Martin, are back in the market after nearly five years. The two long-time radio pros haven't missed a beat, and have brought quality local News & Talk radio back to Modesto.

Jim -- How about adding more live sports talk to KTRB/860, or at least more programming geared toward guys, like The Mike O'Meara Show (it does pretty well on KHTK in Sacramento; check the numbers).

And it's been a blast, driving around the Eastbay -- from Livermore to Milpitas to Berkeley, and everywhere in between -- and getting to hear Oakland A's baseball on a station with a solid signal. Thanks for picking them up ... and hope you keep them for years and years.

Please give Dan Rusanowsky a call at the San Jose Sharks office (408-287-7070) and let him know that having the Sharks on 50,000-watt KTRB would only benefit the team, and wouldn't impact 98.5 K-FOX in San Jose in any way. It's a win-win-win situation for the team, KTRB and Sharks fans.

(Thanks, R-I CenCal board, for letting me pop in with that!)
