Here in the far northwest suburbs of Chicago, its a good signal from WSQR in Sycamore, IL, about 28 miles southwest of me.
At night, WSQR goes down to one watt. WHAM shows up about two miles from the stick, and completely takes over about two miles beyond that. WHAM is very reliable, if not quite as robust as in the past. Cuba is pretty much a non-issue, although it does show up underneath WHAM once in a while.
