Tampa Bay, Florida 06/19/07 - American AM radio show crew members, Henry Raines and Alan Cross, jointly submitted papers petitioning the Los Angeles County Court for temporary guardianship of Paris Hilton. The California form, GC-110, was mailed certified mail earlier this week. Henry and Alan are seeking guardianship to prevent her from endangering herself only! They are not seeking conservatorship of her estate!
Henry is the father of two daughters, Janet and Kathryn, with his wife Susan and Alan has a son, Adam, and a daughter, Jamie, with his wife Joan. This would be the first child Henry and Alan co-parented together.
Henry and Alan were motivated to take action after hearing the constant bashing of Ms. Hilton by other radio show hosts. Henry stated, "I think it is terrible the way lesser celebrities use the misfortune of the famous for their own blatant self-promotion!" He continued, "Children respond to a nurturing environment. I think once we bring Paris to Tampa Bay you will see the blossoming of a productive and intellectual young woman."
Co-host Alan Cross states "Not only is this a case of children out of control, it is a case of parental neglect. Where were her parents during the first arrest? Where were her parents when her license was suspended? And what kind of message does a $50,000 getting out of jail party send? As her new temporary guardians, We plan to let her see the true simple life, not one staged for the cameras."
Henry and Alan plan on bringing some structure to Paris' life:
-Midnight curfew: There is nothing you need to do after midnight that you can't do before midnight.
-Remove bad influences: No more Britney and Nicole. We never liked those girls anyway.
-Dating: A boy that doesn't want to sit down and talk with your fathers is a boy
not worth dating.
-Education: Not only is Tampa Bay home to the University of South Florida, Tampa University, Eckerd College, numerous community colleges, but also excellent schools for nail technicians and cosmetologists. There is no excuse for not bettering yourself!
-No going out in public without your undies!
