'American Bible Challenge' premieres to 2+ million, highest rated GSN prog. ever

Very good, but shouldn't this belong on a network like TBN, Daystar or even INSP? I think having a bible game show on a non-Christian network is very, uh, interesting to say the least.

TBN has run some Bible game shows, like "Virtual Memory". I don't have cable/sat, so I don't get Daystar, INSP or GSN.

When PAX started in 1998, they had a one-episode game show called "Genesis". It even had its own website; why no more episodes were made was beyond me.

I know that the winnings for GSN's show go to charity.

When trying to survive, turn to the Bible! 8)
That's what movie theatres did in the 1950's to compete with television!
The Ten commandments was heavily promoted as a no no for small screen, and a must see at the theatre or drive in.
Looks like it worked for GSN!

Having a Bible-based game show on the Game Show Network is a problem, how?

It just seems a bit out of place. Just my opinion.

Of course it is. I'm just trying to probe a little to find out why it seems out of place. I don't recall GSN or any commercial or non-commercial being reserved for strictly secular fare.

This is what you get after years and years of "Supermarket Sweep" on the PAX network. ::)
