And Now, For Your Most Obvious News Item Of The Day...

In the wake of Rush Limbaugh being criticized for calling out First Lady Michelle Obama on her weight, Jeff Katz supports Rush's comments.

Kind of fitting, isn't it, that the morning drive host on a station dubbed "Rush Radio" would back the personality on which the station is named after. Would he actually think otherwise? Or is it just a slow news day for Ms. Heslam? ::)

As has happened with her hubby, her mystique is rapidly fading. When she became first lady the main stream media tried to sell her as beautiful, glamorous, and the epitome of fashion. That started to fade even before Barack's approval rating. Take a look at her. This is not an attractive woman and she dresses like something out of a K-Mart ad. And now we're asking where did her credentials as a nutritionist come from. Instead of losing weight, she seems to be gaining.

...and Rush is such a fine physical specimen, himself! ::)

took the words right out of my mouth. He can't call ANYONE fat...

BUT HE DOESN'T PRETEND TO BE A FASHION STATEMENT EITHER

beauty is in the eye of the beholder.. That aside, though, I have three words for the corpulent one (Rush)... pot... kettle... black...

How can anyone take Rush seriously anymore? He calls the first lady fat, yet he can't keep his weight off. And yes, about a year ago, he "modestly" admitted on the air that he had lost 30 lbs and was getting into good shape. Based on a promo I saw for him on the Golf Channel, I'd say he found that 30 lbs and then some.

He's the ultimate hypocrite. Rails against drug abusers, but was high on illegally obtained pain killers while he was doing it. Admonishes the welfare system, even when he himself admitted to taking unemployment when he could have been working.

Personally, I think his relevance went bye bye about 15 years ago.
