And now... The rrrrest of the story

Paul Harvey has landed at KKNT. This can't hurt 960, and may attract a few listeners. But you have to think KTAR let him go for a reason...

Ahh yes, the coveted 80+ demo. I'll be sure to let my great-grandmother know.

Where will KKNT shoehorn in the two five-minute stanzas,
not to mention the 15-minute midday 'cast?

The current lineup is a rapid succession of three-hour syndie
talk shows--6-9, 9-12, 12-3, 3-6, etc., which would still be
the same problem assuming they all shift an hour later as of
November 5.

Everyone stay calm! I'll walk over to Sun City and inform Aunt Edna! ;D

Hey guys. May you all live to fall into the 80+ demos. But really, there is no room here for cynicism. Or did we miss all the tongue in cheeks?

KTUC in Tucson just started airing promos for Mr. Harvey. So the man's on a roll in Arizona.

paul harvey news & comment still one of the finest radio features of the day.

i think p.h. still has a strong delivery. ..most days.

I don't think that anyone is making fun of the 80+ demo. However, it seems clear that Paul Harvey's primary appeal is among the more mature crowd. Hopefully, we will all live well into our 80's in good health. :)
