Gosh, Musicradio, now you're sounding like my parents when my sister was listening to Elvis in the 50's:)

Sorry...I still have a teen in the house.

Other than when I do parties, I hear ALOT of the rap noise
in her room.

Hey -- there was a guy on the "Where Are They Now" who said he
connect us via e-mail. I sent him my address and he's waiting for yours.
Look under the Landecker messages.

Thanks!

If they can actully hear the signal. Most Radio Disney stations, with the exception WQEW 1560-New York have very low power, both day and night time.

WWMK 1260 AM in Cleveland (old WIXY) and the 540 AM in Pittsburgh market both have very good daytime signals. Also, I think the 98.3 FM in the Indy market does an okay job of at least covering the western side of the market.

Interesting study, except one thing:

The survey is for kids ages 6-11.

When we approach the teenage years, where kids themselves may have more money from part time jobs, or receiving bigger gifts from parents for birthday and Christmas, I would think the numbers may shift a little bit. I don't think parents would necessarily trust their 8 year old with a $200 MP3 player, but may trust their 16 year old...

So what happens to the numbers when the age focus changes to, say, 12-19?

I believe that KMIK 1580 in Phoenix is 50kW day and night. (I know that 50kW at night for a station on that end of the dial doesn't mean much.)
