Angelica Campos to join KGTV as Chief Meteorologist

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Angelica Campos is leaving WJW Channel 8 to become the chief meteorologist at KGTV Channel 10, the ABC affiliate station in San Diego.

(Does this mean Pat Brown will leave the station again?)

I missed it but Pat Brown signed off on Friday evening. She said she was not leaving San Diego but did not say what her future plans were.

Also heard that Ashlee DeMartino is leaving KGTV on June 14 and going back to Arizona to join KPHO (CBS-5) in Phoenix.

Kristen Keogh, formerly with KSAZ (FOX-10) Phoenix will join KGTV on June 15th as a weather anchor and reporter. (replacing Ashlee DeMartino).

San Diego Union Tribune is reporting the reason Pat Brown left KGTV ABC-10 San Diego.

"Although sad to leave, Brown explained that the station was proposing a change in her employment terms that would have increased her duties while reducing important benefits."

Pat goes on to say she is staying in San Diego and hope to be back on the air.
