Angie Martinez to get her own show on BET!

Just read in Crain's (a NY based paper) that Angie Martinez of Hot 97 is going to have her own reality show that will be shown on BET for 5 shows as a test.

I think this is something that is well deserved.

Angie is not only a great DJ, but singer/rap artist (whatever you want to call her). I still love that song she put out years ago...

Considering the talent that she has on her show, BET seems to be a natural fit.

Plus, she's an attractive woman. I think this will be great exposure for Hot.
 
If that chic on WBLS can do it, So can Angie Martinez ( but better ) .
 
I vaguely remember her doing a show on "HBO" where she interviewed musicians while riding around in a limo and was acutally a judge on "American Idol" but only lasted a few days (I believe she quit).

However, from that time to now, I am VERY surprised that no one has "hit her up" for more TV appearances. Maybe it's the schedule with the radio show...I dunno but she is waaaayyy attractive, photogenic to be put up on some sort of TV show (a talker or music style show).

Good for her!
