A lame vitamin show just like all the talk stations and former talk stations in Philly.
(I predicted that thet business move was a move of desperation from the owners who could not find good salespeople.
The answer is having a good sales staff....not these lame shows....BUt you have to have a real product to sustain a show. A thousand polka fans cannot sustain a station. Those days are over.
I was right because they cant sustain a strong steady audience in the long run. People dont want to be sold day after day by and infomercial disguised as a talk show.
Did you notice the "warning" that if you call in to not mention the owner or management or the sponsoring company.
It was a stunt. The most risky thing that may have happened was that Medi-Omega was going to have their own host. The FAKE appeal show by attorney Bruce Davis was a stunt just to get management to hear that people want Angle to be the spokesperson.
Monthly checks are too hard to get from sponsors for WGPA (JUst ask any of the past salespeople)
Angle used to be a true spokesperson for us in the Lehigh Valley...now he is just a spokesperson (who sounds like a butt-kissing robot now) for a vitamin company.
AND LETS FACE IT....when someone's show is going to end.....Its like the mafia...you just stop hearing or seeing them. They disappear. No station announces the departure and says a show will end in ten days. It was a pre-planned stunt planned by Timmer because he could not get the accounts the way he used to. MediOmega is a steady paycheck....but they would never admit it.
OK ...he had to do what he had to do from a business standpoint. I expect that from Joe Timmer. He is a business man.
