Anna & Raven - Star99.9WEZN To Simulcast Morning Drive On 97.5WALK-FM

Chaz and A.J. on WDRC-FM ended when the station was sold to Full Power Radio (i.e. Radio 104.1 and WBMW-FM 106.5 in New London County).

You would think that Connoisseur would want to at least preserve some of the qualities of WALK that made it the powerhouse, number one rated station it was since forever. Yes, the landscape has changed, but has it changed to the point where a 50,000 watt radio station, literally on an island unto itself, doesn't need it's own morning show?

Radio today? It really doesn't matter where the show originates from or how many stations air it. Awful layoffs aside, keep an eye on iHeart and others that follow. The same shows can be simulcast (networked) on two, ten, fifty, a hundred stations. If it's good in Connecticut and New York, it will be just as good in North Carolina and Minnesota. Watch for a lot more of this going forward.
