Milwaukee TV veteran Mark Strachota is retiring after running Milwaukee's Weigel Broadcasting stations for six years.

Anne Brown, who has been director of strategy and marketing at WITI-TV (Channel 6) since 2008, will succeed Strachota in the GM post at Weigel's Milwaukee operations, which include WDJT-TV (Channel 58), WMLW, WBME-TV and WYTU-TV.

Before joining Weigel in 2014, Strachota was general manager of Time Warner Sports Channel. Before that, he worked for WTMJ-TV (Channel 4) for nearly three decades, including four years as general manager.
