ANNOTHER CARROLLTON GA DJ (WKCS 102.7) GOING TO WORK FOR KICKS??????

HEARD KIM FITZ ON THE RADIO IN ATLANTA ON KICKS ALL WEEK DOING TRAFFIC? IS SHE GOING TO WORK FOR KICKS PART TIME OR SOMETHING NOW? SHE IS THE MORNING DJ IN KISS 102 IN CARROLLTON.

Maybe,I know Sari Rose(no relation to Wylie Rose) who does mid-days came from there. I guess 102.7 must be a Kicks farm team.LOL:)

According to the Kiss website, Kim is stil emplyeed with Kiss. I belive she is full time \. She is over promtions, does some news and mornings.

Not trying to be ugly here but Kicks is beginning to sound more and more like a Carrollton radio station these days - just my own personal observation.

WCKS is Hot AC...not country (WBTR 92.1 is Graddick's country station in Carollton at last check).

What has happened to Melissa Miller, she took some time off to deal with family issues and hasn't been back. I hope she's ok.

Kim and I have been really good friends for many moons. Truth be told, she and I were part of the very first Q100 Street-Team nearly a decade ago!! Then, in 2007, we were co-workers again, both employed by Steve Gradick, Founder and President of Gradick Communications, LLC, located in Carrollton, Georgia. Steve owns B-92 Country (WBTR-FM), KISS 102.7 (WCKS-FM), News-Talk (AM) 1330 WLBB, King Country AM 1060 (WKNG-AM), and Rejoice 89.1 (WKNG-FM). Steve is a great friend of mine as well.

Kim is an award winning talent in the making, is still employed by Steve Gradick at Gradick Communications (as she should be), and is not single.

And yes, Kim landed a PT gig at KICKS doing Traffic. Mark Richards knows great talent when he hears it, and I'm glad they recruited Kim. I have a lot of friends over at KICKS, including Sari Rose (who also worked for Steve Gradick at KISS 102.7), and Tug McCoy (Producer of the KICKS Morning Show), who I worked with at Clear Channel-Chattanooga a few years ago.

Yes I must reply that we are lucky here in CARROLLTON AND THE WEST GA/EAST ALABAMA are to have Gradick communications and different types of formats with good DJ.s I have alway known Steve as a good person who wants to be a commuinity supporter and most of all a station with positive people. The High School football season is the best on Gradick Communications. I enjoy listening to the coverage they provide. They do an excellent just, ///// I know this is off the wall statement but I saw a reply about knowing Steve so I gave mine.

re: radiojunki's link....

Oh Gawd... ANOTHER prize-wheel????
Sheesh. Won't those things ever just die a quick death???

I remember WBTR-FM way back in the late '60s - sister station to WLBB-AM there in Carrollton. Does anyone know for a fact that WBTR stood for Bob Thorburn Radio. There has always been "water-cooler" talk that it does even though it's never been substantiated!

And let me be the first to congratulate Steve Gradick, as the FCC approved him to take AM 1060 WKNG ("King Country") to 50,000 watts!! WKNG (AM 1060) is based out of Tallapoosa, Georgia, and is now covering most of Metro-Atlanta with Classic Country Music. Recently inducted Georgia Radio Hall of Famer Red Jones is the Morning Show Host on AM 1060 WKNG ("King Country").
