Annoying Sports Opinion From Guess You Know Who.

I'm in the car and turn on the ignition. Up comes JT the Brick and he starts ranting about how it is terrible for the fans that the Stars of various Franchises were sitting out to heal up for the play-offs. So annoying.... He acts like Athletes are Clowns in a Circus who "must Perform" to give them fan their moneys worth. Dude shut the heck up already.Who was it that retired a little early and JT went off... oh yeah it was Barry Sanders. JT kept harping how it was wrong for Sanders to do that to the Fan.. I bet JT hounds Atheletes for their Autographs too so he can make money off them.

Why do you continue to listen to a show you supposedly don't enjoy or appreciate. You seriously must have nothing of interest that you value in your life...move on to something else to listen to or just stop complaining. Whether you agree with JT and Looney, or not, you obviously have proven you are a fan of the show. I certainly wouldn't listen to something I don't enjoy!

Leebo always seems to just listen to JT and Looney during the majority of his life. I love how those guys dominate your radio experience. Do you have to put down your "Brick VooDoo Doll" when your Mom calls you downstairs for dinner? You are a hoot!

I will say that I'm not a big fan of Brick's but sometimes late at night you want some sports talk and you take what you can get.
It's not so much that you don't have anything better to do but with ESPN not doing anything on their overnights like they had with Jason Smith & Todd Wright - and no, prerecorded shows like "the sporting life" is not the same.
I know many of Smith's & Wrights interviews were pre recorded but at least there was some live element to the show other than updates with Neil Jackson.
So like I said you take what you can get and hope you don't regret tuning in.

I'm failing to understand why JT has this small group of people out there that hate him to the point of obsession. Just like anyone on the radio, I can understand why some people might like him and some might not (I happen to like him). There are other sports talk show hosts out there that are 'acquired tastes' as well (e.g. Jim Rome) but I don't see them drawing the same fierce criticism that JT does. And no, it's not because JT is the worst sports talk show host in the world because he wouldn't have the significant loyal following that he does if he were that bad.

The only thing I can think of is that since JT takes a lot of calls, he also hangs up on a lot of people too. Did you JT haters get hung up on? Don't take it personally if you did...it's just a show. And anyways, if you hate him that much, just listen to something else.
