At the 1 AM call letter ID for WZOW/WOZW (97.7/102.3 FM), I heard the U 93 WNDV FM AM South Bend call letter identification. I had to check u93 to see if maybe formats/channels had switched. Thankfully they had not. Later on, I heard the Classic Rock Moniker by ZOW. This was on 102.3 FM.
Edited by cartleague on 12/29/05 06:19 AM.

We can only hope that AMP doesn't come out with their own automation software.

Radio station automation software would be written by well paid computer programmers. When did you last hear "AMP" and "well paid" together? (silence) (silence) (silence) Thank you.

To Artistic's defense, I ask cartleague whether he heard it accurately. I also confess that every radio station in Indiana has a goof up from time to time. This problem seemed to be a one-time deal. Mistakes happen. Even to me.

Yes, I heard that WNDV AM/FM or FM/AM South Bend call letter ID. I looked at my radio to see if it was in the right spot on the dial (I had 102.3 FM on). It was right after a U2 song and then there was another (supposedly) classic rock song after that which I have never heard before (sounded almost Christian). This was about 1 AM (maybe 1:05). I went down the dial to 97.7 to check for the dual broadcast and then to 92.9 FM to check for U93 format.
