I also wish Josh Holstead the best of lucky.
I knew his dad back in Beaumont in the '60.

I understand you folks had a big turn out and lots of fun at the Houston Radio Reunion, the past Sunday.

Read about it in Jim Rose's Newsletter. http://news.jimroseremembersradio.com/

Gene,

You're not the same Gene Thomas that recorded "Baby's Gone," "Last Song," and "Sometime," are you?

Andy I'm not that Gene Thomas, but thanks. I wish they would have sent me those royalty checks though.

I was in broadcasting for almost forty years. I started in Hattiesburg, MS. in 1962 and worked both radio and television in many markets over the years.

I knew another Gene Thomas years ago. He was from Oklahoma City and worked as a television news anchor and worked top 40 radio at W K Y Radio in OKC. He may have also worked the Dallas market as well.

Gene died in a race car accident years ago.
