ANTENNA TV ADDS 7 AFFILIATES (ATLANTA, CHATT., LEXINGTON, VEGAS, FT. WAYNE,etc.)

Hadn't visited their site in awhile, but I see new stations have been added.
http://www.antennatv.tv/affiliates/

WNMN 40.2 Burlington VT (tba)
WATL 36.3 Atlanta (tba)
WRCB 3.2 Chattanooga (1-1-12) is this replacing RTV?
WTVQ 36.3 Lexington (12-7)
WANE 15.2 Ft. Wayne (12-26)
KPVI 23.2 Pocatella (ID) (1-1-12)
KSNV 2.3 Las Vegas (1-1-12)

I think once MeTV reaches the 145+ number like ThisTV, Antenna TV will start adding more stations. I would LOVE to have this station. They will slowly pick away at RTV's few remaining full power stations. ;)

Finally, the annoying vandal on WXIA/WATL's Wikipedia articles can stop his whining that Atlanta doesn't have Antenna TV (though the whining that RTV is stuck on a nightlight will continue) :D.

Most of these seem to be beginning of the year replacements for Universal Sports and some CoolTV affiliations for LIN which are expiring; they didn't seem to last long on LIN at all.

I expect Scripps to replace TheCoolTV with Live Well on the McGraw-Hill stations they are buying (WRTV Indianapolis already has LWN, but the other three markets don't).

Makes me wonder what kind of deals are going on out there. It would seem obvious that Antenna or ME-TV would have more viewership than these health & lifestyle channels. I can see the Spanish channels being successful in some areas of the country but not in others. Just seems Antenna & ME-TV are more mainstream.

And since KTVD 20 here in Denver does whatever sister station WATL 36 in Atlanta does (And vice versa), I now fully expect KTVD 20 to replace Universal Sports with MeTV since neither ThisTV nor Antenna TV are available

Cheers & 73 ;)

I wouldn't be so quick to say that (At least here in Denver). McGraw Hill could've grabbed LWN for KMGH 7 if it wanted to (No one else has it) but they opted to go for CoolTV instead

Plus, KZCO 27 is available in HD only via parent station KMGH 7. Once KZCO has its own facilities & is free from those of KMGH 7, maybe then will LWN be added. But not now

JMO.....

Cheers & 73 ;)

I think when it's all said and done, and all the sub channel dust settles, many stations will
be kicking themselves in the teeth as to why they didn't get Antenna or Me-TV (when they
could have, but someone else beat them to it).
