Antenna TV in the Boston now on WWOO 28.4

The “Decades” network that aired on WWOO-LD 17.1 has rebranded and reprogrammed to a network called “Catchy Comedy”. Looks like a good lineup of classic ‘60s and ‘70s sitcoms.
The same weekend that WWOO-LD was down, 2 or 3 weeks ago, "sister"station WVCC-LD lost audio and video from their only subchannel, NewsNet. The transmitter has remained on with no programming.

Yes, have been getting a black screen carrier from WVCC-LD.
It is hard to believe how low the budget must be for these stations. However, WVCC-LD was granted a power increase earlier this year and bought and had installed a ch 6 transmitter previously owned by WRGB, Schenectedy. Yet they still have only one subchannel, NewsNet, when it works. Supposedly they planned from the beginning to duplicate all of the subchannels from WWOO-LD. Possibly work related to that could be in progress, or they don't know NewsNet is off, or they could be waiting for the availability of a contract engineer.

Is NewsNet on a subchannel of WVCC-LD? I thought it was on their main channel (virtual 49.1). I don't get any subchannels on WVCC-LD.

They are all really subchannels, mixed together as the single ATSC signal, but sometimes one of the subchannels (usually the one with the .1 designation) may be referred to as the main channel.
