Anti-Vax Radio Host Marc Bernier of WNDB.

This is the third political host that has either died from COVID-19 complications or was sent to the hospital with a severe COVID-19 case and each time their rants got used against them when that happened. These are the people that are getting politicians to make conspiracy theories of COVID-19 to hype up the 2022 elections and each time that happened the result ended in disaster usually its random innocent people facing this issue not the political influencers themselves.

Right-wing radio host Marc Bernier, who has spoken out at length against the coronavirus vaccine, has been hospitalized with COVID-19.

The longtime Florida-based commentator was admitted to a Daytona Beach area hospital on Saturday, a top official at his radio station, WNDB, confirmed to the Daytona Beach News Journal on Monday.

“I don’t have an update on him at this point, other than he has been hospitalized,” Mark McKinney, the station’s operations director, told the outlet.

Bernier had been sick at home and off the air for the week leading up to his hospitalization.

As host of “The Marc Bernier Show,” Bernier had expressed anti-vaccine sentiment less than a week before his hospitalization. On July 30, he quote-tweeted a Fox News PSA urging people to be vaccinated with, “Should say, ‘Now the US Government is acting like Nazi’s. Get the shot!'”

WNDB Radio is owned by a group called Southern Stone Communications in the Daytona Beach area and so far we don't know if this 1 radio cluster owner has issued a vaccine mandate for this company. I know if its Iheart, Cumulus, Salem, Alpha and Audacy the bigger radio station owners then most likely they will issue a vaccine mandate mainly to comply with states that have strict vaccine requirements.

According to this article Sean Hannity is airing on WNDB for the time being.

Now radio/podcasting companies talk about vaccine mandates in an op-ed here.

I don’t feel any sorrow for these bastards dropping dead.

They are not just some barstool potentates shooting their mouth off to a few people.

These sorts of cynical hosts have influenced millions of people and made the political and now the public heath situation much worse than it needed to be.

If these cruds hadn’t gotten sick, they would still be spewing the same garbage.

There was a time I would agree. In these cases, I cannot. This is beyond stupidity. It’s willfully spreading potentially deadly lies.

My sorrow is reserved for innocent victims like a family friend who just lost her battle with the disease. Unable medically to be vaccinated yet, she had to rely on honesty of health care aids she came in close contact with that they were fully vaccinated.

Your comment speaks of a good heart, David.

I see a history replete with individuals whose earlier demise would have saved millions from suffering and death.

Even these two-bit radio hosts have a lot to atone for, and probably never will.

I do. They're prob. still good humans and i think they prob. mean well.... i like to try and find the good in people.

How are they good humans? They possess not a shred of decency or morality.

Alot of talk show hosts are putting on a show. I met Art Bell in Pahrump (and saw his home ham shack) before he died .. i dont believe he beleived everything that was said on air.. but he knew his audience once

They're -- for the most part -- not making anything up. The covid-denial conspiracy theories have been out there since at least April of last year. The politicians probably already believed what they believe.

Unless you or I knew them personally, you can't really decide whether someone was good or bad. There is usually a mixture of both in all of us. It's just that being public people, we see the bad in some of these hosts and politicians broadcast over radio, TV and the news.

And each person who buys into whatever propaganda these hosts may be inventing or repeating has a brain, and a mind theoretically capable of reason. Most of them probably have access to all sorts of information -- not just the talk shows. Maybe most of them weren't taught critical thinking in the school system. But they have their own responsibility for their own actions. The people I personally know who are covid-deniers have access to the same info I've had access to. They make up their own minds, ultimately.

I agree with you, though, that these hosts getting ill from covid after spouting denial on the airwaves makes it tough to feel empathy or sympathy for them.

It's a shtick that they've monetized. Really no different than an 'artist' who makes a fortune selling 'art' that involves firing paint balls into a fan blowing onto a canvas. Enough fellow humans think their shtick is 'genius'.

Persona…act…that doesn’t make a discernible difference. When you know what you’re doing may be deadly, when you shtick is spreading disinformation about life and death matters, you’re irredeemable and devoid of decency. The artist throwing paintballs into a fan presumably harms no one. It isn’t a lie. This…nope. This is depravity.

They should pay with wrongful death suits and possibly even criminal charges.
But that requires that the politicians are not aiding and abetting the conspiracy theorists ranting about COVID-19 though. I doubt that could happen in some states though where the governor's decided to politicize the pandemic for election reasons.

A wrongful death suit probably wouldn't be easy to win for the complainant. All a defense attorney would have to show is that the person who died had access to accurate and true information, and chose themselves to ignore it. The 'personal responsibility' factor is used a lot in civil lawsuits, especially negligence, and I can't see how in a case like the one suggested it would be much different.

WNDB announced on the News Daytona Beach FB page that Marc Bernier passed away.

Here is confirmation of Marc Bernier's death in relation to COVID-19. This is the third talk show host to get killed from COVID-19 complications and his rants get used against him in the grave like Dick Farrel and Phil Valentine had to face too when they were in that situation.

Another vocal anti-mask, anti-vax leader passes of Covid. He had treated himself with horse paste before going to thehospital. He was 30 with 3 children and a 4th on the way. Delta ain't playing.
