Of course, their "winter" is our "summer". It... sort of... makes sense Down Under.I'd like to know if any radio stations around the country will be doing Christmas in July programming over the next 2 weeks. I know that it's big in Australia and New Zealand, but I wonder if any US radio stations will try it.
I've never heard of "Christmas in July" music on radio here in the US. Curious as to how popular it really is in Oz, and which stations play it and how many Christmas songs -- is it in blocks? Christmas songs interspersed among the regular hits?I'd like to know if any radio stations around the country will be doing Christmas in July programming over the next 2 weeks. Not all the way defunct, actually. Still on HD and if you are one of the lucky ones, on translators. I don't think it can be heard on traditional radio in Greenville or Spartanburg.Be lucky you don’t live in South Carolina where the recently defunct WSPA 98.9/106.3 was always flipping to Christmas every chance it would get.
Yup. Plenty of Christmas tunes year around, thanks to streaming, if you’re so inclined.Doesn’t SXM have a year long Christmas channel on the app.
Actually, the last year they were on 106.3, they didn’t do Christmas music at all until November 1st. Which was a record in recent years 🤣 no Christmas in July, no preview weekend, etc…Be lucky you don’t live in South Carolina where the recently defunct WSPA 98.9/106.3 was always flipping to Christmas every chance it would get.
