Any fond memories of KVFM, Van Nuys Blvd?

Truly a station without a purpose. Jim "Doc" Halliday was the P.D. and the nicest guy in the world! Had a show called 'Flip Top' where he would play the B sides of 45's. I watched Jim play "Carleah" Simon (not Carly), flip the disc over and announce her new song as he squinted at the turntable and said "here is Mono". (Stereo/Mono copy of 'You're so Vain'). Classic Class A 70's FM. Jim moved to Ventura, lost most of his teeth and was let go for complaints of sounding drunk on the air a few years later. Anyone remember 'Doc'?
