Broadcasting and Cable reports layoffs in two markets as Young Broadcasting is reportedly making $20-million in cuts.

Ten people got the ax at WTEN, Albany, NY. As many as 15 may be gone from WKRN, Nashville, TN. High priced talent is apparently not being spared.

Tom Sinkovitz left way before Young Broadcasting officially put KRON up for sale. I am sure he saw the writing on the wall, though. Just like all the others before him.
