Any other AC stations (besides KMGL) releases new songs for 12-5AM airplay only?

Does anybody know some other stations that does this? Renda's Magic 104.1 KMGL releases new songs that play only between 12-5AM in the morning only.

Some of the new songs are released into regular airplay and they take a long time before they reach the top 10 or 20 of the station's playlist, but some of the new songs are just released into the station 12-5AM airplay only and never make into regular airplay nor to the top 10 or 20 of the station's playlist and eventually dies out of their playlist afterwards. Why is that? Have any of you notice any other AC stations that release new songs that way.

I know CBS Radio's KVIL 103.7 Lite FM releases new songs differently. They always release all new songs into regular airplay and all the new songs topped the chart in the top 10 or 20 within the next few days. Except I just realized KVIL does the same thing now with "Hold On" by Michael Buble. I only heard it between 12-5AM in the morning when I stay up late. It never make it to the top 10 or 20 and it keeps on falling in and out of the top 100 playlist. This is the first time I noticed KVIL does this, usually any songs they release became a current right away and topped the playlist within a few days.

I don't really pay that close attention to other Renda AC's, CBS Radio AC's, ClearChannel AC's, or Entercomm AC's but I don't think I see them releasing new songs that way. Do any of you know any other AC's that does that? And, that it is a CBS or CC station?

I still like KMGL and other Renda AC's because they lean more on some good 70s/80s. :)

Entercom's WSPA in Greenville, SC does this practice between 12am-6am. They are rotating

Matthew Morrison - Summer Rain
Adele - Rolling In The Deep
Michael Buble - Hold On
Kenny Chesney - Somewhere With You
Christina Perri - Jar Of Hearts

in those times. They also play some 70s songs in those hours they don't normally play. I think it helps them look better to the record labels for promotional purposes or something.

KKCW in Portland does this. A while ago they were doing this with Colbie Caillat's "Brighter Than the Sun" but never put it in daytime rotation, even though it hit #1 on the Billboard AC chart. They play the same 250 songs from 6am to midnight but play different stuff from midnight to 6am.
