I saw this post and got curious. Is this the same "Skipper T. Thomas" from CIL-FM days?

"Great Googlie-Mooglie!" It sure-darn-fire is...... I am alive and have been in a cave creating some future phenom format to unleash on my home part of the Heartland, after seven years of doing other fulltime work (while keeping an engineering, consulting and fill-in and filing hand in radio)....

Man....There was nothing like being debt free, making a little cash and being single in Carbondale...Going to SIU for the fun of it and working as the teen jock at Rockinradio/'CIL-FM.....

You and I crossed paths back in Carbondale. In fact, you steered me to Wabash Valley College.

Obviously, I don't want to start a dialogue here, but you can e-mail me at [email protected].

I thought Withers just got a CP to build the station in Wickliffe, I didn't think they sold...I think they have 3 other stations in the market. There is another Jones Network Classic Country Station around Wickliffe (99.something) that streams, but I didn't know they sold. I know Bristol has a lot too. There is a 100,000 watt in Murray that's owned by Forever, and a 100,000 watt directly across the river in Metropolis, Il. owned by Stratemeyer Media. I think there are some smaller stations in the surrounding counties (Marshall, Ballard, etc.) but last I knew they were all pretty small stations.
