Anybody happen to know what became of WAMG 890 this morining

GOIS is looking for people to buy time on on 1480 in Windsor, CT but that station has a dog signal even with all the improvements GOIS put into it. I don't think they can apply for a power increase for their signal at all with WACM 1490 up in West Springfield and WMMW 1470 down in Meriden, CT. (Not to mention the 1480 in Fall River). 500 watts day/11 watts nite.

It wouldn't surprise me if GOIS was LMAing 890 from J-Sports. I heard GOIS was trying to LMA the HD2 of 104.1 FM in the Hartford market (licensed to Waterbury) from Red Wolf Broadcasting, but couldn't afford it and some other Hispanic Group is programming a Tropical Format on it, which is being relayed on 97.5 W248AB in Bolton, CT. Even tho 97.5 is only 60 watts more people can hear it than 104.1 HD2, so they're branding the station as La Bomba 97.5

And you also didn't mention 1480s in Springfield VT and New York City. There are nearly as many 1480s in New England and environs as there are 1450s or 1490s. Probably better to be on one of the graveyard channels than to be on 1480 in CT. At least nearly all of the graveyarders get to run ND and they all have more than 11 (I read 15) watts at night. In fact, graveyarders are required to run the equivalent of at least 250W into a very short (~50 degree) stick.
