I worked there from 1980 till 1990. I havn't been to CT for a long time, but will take a trip there the last week of this month. I know Larry is still there. What do you think about the rest of the operation?

Well, if you talking strictly "sound quality", then the station sounds terrible. I think their HD2 channel (which more resembles the DRC-FM of old) sounds much better than the main channel. Their main HD channel is nothing to write home about either. Since I only listen on occasion myself perhaps someone else will chime in about the talent and overall presentation of the air product.

The Music Mix is definately much better than it was. It sounds much more like the oldies station it once was, even tho they don't use the "o" word in classification of their format.

As for the DJs my favorites are Doug Taylor, Mike Stevens (who I still can't get used to hearing at night), Gay Johnson, Ron Sedaile, and Grahame Winters.

Larry Wells isn't my cup of tea. And I don't really care for the morning show, tho I think Cadaliac (sp?) Man is a good Jock.

Granted I don't listen all-day everyday, it's good music and a good station.
