Anyone heard anything more about radio one selling there non urban stations

I have not i was just wondering if anyone has?Hopefully if and when they sell the ones here i hope the max stays the same good station.

I hope wlrs is blown up for good there is no need for 2 identical rock stations there is not alot of difference betwen them.If they keep wlrs change it to a alternative station and get new calls. The fox overall has better on air talent.Leave djx alone.I have always enjoyed djx.Kiss gives them a run for there money but the jocks are so much better then on kiss plus they are all local!!!

Ihear it is on then off then on. Radio One does very well with Urbans across the country, and clearly, not so well with non-urbans. Can't believe yo think much of the Max. I am just a listener, but hosts are too old for the station, and they dont' have discipline of good morning show. not very entertaining, and I am in target, but hey, what is their target? I think that is the point. But to answer your question, yes, I think it will happen sooner rather than later.

The Max makes a profit. Why would they get rid of it? They have a good morning show. George Lindsay was just appointed Ops manager at Radio One. His first item of business...fire himself?

dumb.

Radio One is Mad Stupid, Dumb !

Radio and Records has a story that Radio One is selling all of their properties in Louisville, as well as all their properties in Dayton, Ohio. The new owner is Main Line Broadcasting, a newer company based in Philadelphia.
