Anyone know the whereabouts of Bob Kemp, and the others from 1on1 sports

I enjoyed listening to Bob during his 1on1 sports. He at one time had a show with a bookie out of LasVegas. Also some of the other talent that used to appear on 1on1 - I know Papa Joe has passed on, Steve Czaban has a show (and its great) on Yahoo . . . anyone know about the others from that network?????

Good question. I've asked in here before about Tom "The Sheik" Shiekman's whereabouts, but no one seems to know. The bookie you're referring to may be John Avello, who runs the Wynn sports book now. Kemp also partnered with a tout named Larry Ness (who had his own 1on 1 show too), and I know he still runs his handicapping biz out of Las Vegas, and any radio he has done has been local Vegas stuff.

Ferrall is a 1on1 alum as well, and he's easy to find. John Renshaw is an alum too, but I'm not sure where he is now.

John Renshaw does M-F in Louisville and weekends in Miami.

Bob Kemp has been doing middays on KDUS 1060 in Phoenix for many years.

Yes - it was Larry Ness.

I'd forgotten about Johnny Renshaw.

and there was another guy who used to when he'd give the phone number . . . 1-800-777-TWO 907 would shout out the "two/2" part of the number. If I remember, he worked the late shift.

thanks for these - and yes it was Arnie Spanier and his 1-800-777-TWO907. And I'd forgotten about Kevin Wheeler & Kevin Wall.

Before this endless amount of sports talk nowadays - 1on1 Sports was seemingly the ONLY 24 hour sports talk programming.

And still no Tom Shiekman sightings it appears. He seems to have dropped off the face of the earth....even Google turns up nothing current.
