Perfect signal to do rock is WEAT. Rock partisans are in Broward and Plam Beach COunty for the most part, and the signal still makes the trip dow to Miami pretty well. The larger question is, what's more lucrative? The big #'s they get with AC in WPB, or the 2 share they'll pull in the Miami-Ft. Laud book as a rock station? Could flip frequencies with The Buzz and still do both formats.
 
The question remains, what kind of rock? Might just be a matter of switching the dial setting depending on the genre of rock.

godsmack nickelback sevendust all the mid 90s to 2000s bands is what im refering to but i know miami is 50% hispanic and according to the companies execs miami hispanics dont like Rock
 
I think he wants something on the basic FM dial down there.

New Active Rock!

Play New Rock.. that's what kids want to hear.. so play it..

13-29 want Active Rock music mostly played

30-37 want some 90s alternative mixed in

38-44 want hairbands/metal mixed in.

So, play 60% New Rock.. and best of 80s-90s-2000s...
from hairbands-metal-grunge-top hits from a few years ago.

60% New Rock 30% Classics 10% Recurrents per hour
