A long long time ago..i can still remember how that recorder used to make me smile..bring back those thrilling days of ball game replays and sunday morning sermons with your very own wollansak deck..ok...i know it's a long shot..but anyone need one for parts or repair ?..vintage collectors maybe ? it does need a minor fix as far as i can tell..someone tried to use a non wollensak power cord on the back panel and broke the fiberboard the input prongs are imbedded in. i did jump the connectors with alliagator clips and saw the tubes(yes tubes for those too young to know)..start to glow..so i'm betting there's life in the old girl yet. it's a stereo model with four track capability according to the inside panel details..i 'm only familiar with the old standard mono "saks..so can't tell just how this one would work. surprisingly good condition, has a nice cover as well as a new cover still in the plastic. i'm dating this to late sixties/early seventies. it has a power amp and speakers..so it's fully self contained and weighs a ton..quality stuff back then ya know..have pics i can email if someone is really crazy for it. i'd describe it as a repairable unit or a really good parts doner..i'd be interested in trading for most anything vintage as am/fm receiver as my old panasonic passed away a few months a go, or a good set of pc speakers with sub..anything worth what you think this is. i'd say on the vintage market probably 25-50 bucks..i'm in berry hill during the mornings for speedy pickup or delivery in the downtown area...reply at [email protected] if you just have to have it...hate to see it sitting forlorn in the closet..and can't bring myself to toss it.. :
