You and me too. When I was in my teens, I would stay up til all hours when the FM band was hot. Picked up a college station from New York City once...relatively low power and height. The Empire State Building powerhouses were not there. But WKSS Meriden,CT was. What was really fun was catching a college station at a great distance & calling them on the phone & listening to their on air response. Those are some fond memories from 40 years ago...back in the day when most FM stations went off at 11PM or Midnight and all FM stations were live...it was in the days before automation existed to any degree.
