Arizona, and Nevada Skipped into Indiana just right at sunrise

Not to pile on but is this the guy who claimed Turks and Caicos skipping in early one December morning on FM, when no one else heard anything?

I'm glad to see there are others that doubt this guy. I thought I was the only one. And Clubber, we get it. You like dance music. And Rhythmic AC. Pirate dance, internet dance, dance, dance, dance, dance, dance......

Those of us in the Indy area have received calls from "Clubber" since the early 90's (aka "Transmitter Man"). Nice guy who means well.

I thought "all" music was dance music.... one Sunday afternoon about 3:30 pm back in the summer of 1985 I heard a Denver, Co FM station while I was driving in northeastern Fulton County, IN, on my way to work at WRSW in Warsaw. I thought I was listening to then WNDU-FM 92.9...until I heard the commercials in a spot break for a Denver, CO car dealer, a Denver bank, etc. I don't remember the call sign but that station totally covered WNDU in South Bend. The signal from Denver lasted about 15 minutes before fading out.

If there is fog I sometimes get some unusual distant stations if conditions are right and we had fog this morning. We had a fog advisory even. Didn't hear any of this myself.

The weather fronts that have been moving through have created some really neat conditions for listening to distant stations. Too old to stay up all night listening to the radio.

You and me too. When I was in my teens, I would stay up til all hours when the FM band was hot. Picked up a college station from New York City once...relatively low power and height. The Empire State Building powerhouses were not there. But WKSS Meriden,CT was. What was really fun was catching a college station at a great distance & calling them on the phone & listening to their on air response. Those are some fond memories from 40 years ago...back in the day when most FM stations went off at 11PM or Midnight and all FM stations were live...it was in the days before automation existed to any degree. And yes, I do miss those days Chief.

At about 6:25 AM I heard the following.. Im assuming these are Double HOP Es considering the Distance.. 94.5...DANCE MUSIC.. NO ID, but assuming this is,, was Vegas's Dance Vybe 94.5 considering the music and the locations and IDs of the other stations. 92.9 Country,,, Several Mentions of Arizona, but I didnt get a positive ID on this one either. 98.3 KKFR...Rap Music .. Phoenix, POSITIVE ID... 101.1.. Heard them say The Beat of Arizona,,More Rap Music... 98.5 CHR RHYTHMIC.. NO ID, But Assume it was KLUC in Vegas... 97.5 KVEG.. Positive ID.. Vegas..... 97.9.. THE BOX,, RAP MUSIC,, Heard station name, but unknown location.
92.9 was probably KAFF Flagstaff, but there are country stations in Artesia NM and Sun City CA on this frequency as well.

101.1 is KNRJ, a Phoenix rimshot licensed to Payson.

98.3 KKFR is another Phoenix rimshot, licensed to Mayer.
It's those George Nory freaks out there in Roswell with their aluminum hats...

:)

How do u reckon I favor Dance. I like Dance but Im not the one that made them boom in. I dont like country too well except when in the right mood, but I log them too, as well as AC stations.. I have a couple of these airchecked if I can figure out how to get cassette's converted to mp3 and then upload them to here. The ones who dont beleive me are foolish, not calling anyone out personally, but I have had witnesses with some of these catches,, and they totally beleive it, however, they could care less, as they are average people. So anyway, Can anyone guess my age, and know who I really am, or anything about me, I bet some of you think im either much older, or much younger than I really am,, Lets play guess MWC's age for a moment Faking DX reports is stupid,, their is no point in it.

I do kind of believe you here, Midwest. There's been an influx of activity due to meteor showers passing through the earth's atmosphere. That can easily give you an E session outside of normal times it occurs.
