Arizona Univision and Telefutura stations going HD on Dec. 21st

Univision is rolling out HD broadcasts beginning Monday Dec. 7th and continuing throughout the month. Conversion for Arizona stations occurs on Dec. 21st and includes Univision stations KTVW Phoenix and KUVE Green Valley/Tucson, and Telefutura stations KFPH Flagstaff and KFTU Douglas. There is no information on the Telefutura stations carried on the .2 subchannel of KTVW and KUVE, or the Univision stations carried on the .2 subchannel of KFPH and KFTU, but I have no reason to believe that they will not continue to be SD.

Say hello to KTVW-TV 33.1 in 1080i. No HD programming for it yet, but KTVW is now ready for when it comes. As expected, KFPH-CA on 33.2 remains in 480i. I expect the same to be true for KUVE-TV 46.1 and KFTU-CA 46.2, KFTU-TV 3.1 and 3.2, and KFPH-TV 13.1 and KTVW-CA 13.2.
