AFRN To Run ARNN's Newscasts - 10/1 - America's Radio News Network has been selected as the source of top-of-the-hour news for the Armed Forces Radio Network. The hourly newscasts replace CNN on Armed Forces Radio. "Our expanding team of news anchors, producers and board operators is extremely proud to enlist the trust of the millions of men and women of America's armed forces, who every day put their lives on the line and sacrifice so much for those of here at home," said John McCaslin, ARNN's DC-based executive vice president for news. "Our pledge to the US military family is 'Journalism Without Agenda' and rest assured we will deliver on that promise every day," McCaslin added. AFRN utilizes seven satellites to provide multiple television and audio channels to more than 1,000 outlets in 178 countries and US territories, and onboard 150 US Navy ships.....
