So the above posts sort of prove my point....that these posters here have their agenda. And I admit I have mine. But their agenda is to stop the war, tarnish Bush, and condemn conservative hosts like Rush and Sean.
My agenda is to try and make a living programming talkradio, get the largest audience I can deliver my sales department, and help them go out and make some money for my company. This is a business.

Did you steal that from me? You are now making sense. In an earlier post I tried to remind these people that if I get a 5 share I am a hero. That means 95% of the radios turned on are not listening to me. So you used the same statistic. I think we agree on this point. Talkradio is not a very good vehicle to attract a majority of Americans. It is a good vehicle to attract a large enough audience that this format is the most listened to in American radio. It ain't for everybody.

If creativity to you is taking something that does not fit...and try to make it fit...then you are right. I do not do that. But....with the exception of Rush Limbaugh, my entire lineup was once a risk. Just so happens that most of it worked. Lucky me.

On O'Reilly's highest rated shows, most of America isn't watching- nearly 95% are watching something else

It may be that today's radio stations are so focused on the tried and true, that there is no room for risk and creativity.
