I just read on KMCQ's website that they will start airing AT 40 the 70's this coming Sunday October 30th. It will be on from 9am to noon. I am happy that is going to be back on again!!!

GREAT FOR KMCQ!!!......

Now get an ONLINE feed going, and then MAYBE we'll talk about a REAL radio station brewing......

Keep up the good work otherwise.......

Given the Q's awesome processing they will sound pretty close to the way I heard them the first time...on KRKO AM.

I really like this show, it is a historic radio broadcast and deserves airplay.

This is great news! I've been listening to AT40 online ever since KJR dumped it, but still prefer local radio. KMCQ continues to amaze me with their song selection.

Good news for KMCQ! Now if they can put this on the air, get some DJs and a webstream, it might be the final nail in the coffin for Cookie-Cutter's KJR.

KMCQ's progamming on Sunday is just as I suggested a couple of months ago. AT-40 from 9 to noon and then Ted Alexander's 10,000 Oldies show from noon til 3. Sunday's are going to be great fun. It sure will help make doing all those weekend chores a lot more enjoyable. Now if Comcast will just add KMCQ to their digital music lineup then we can DVR the AT-40 shows like I did before the bird brains at KJR FM dumped it. As an oldies fan and avid radio listener, I am SO grateful to have KMCQ in this market.

Actually it will probably run from 9am to 11:15 or so, as they can't possibly have enough commercials to make the show time out correctly.

I was wondering about that myself. I hope with the addition of AT 40 the station can get some additional ad revenue coming in.

It's been a really good morning, hearing AT40 The 70s back on Seattle radio via KMCQ. I was really disappointed when KJR-FM dumped it, as I had been before when KBSG did (due to their format change).

This has turned out to be a big plus, as KMCQ is actually playing the "AT40 extras" that the previous stations just filled with ad space. Other stations around the country played them, and we finally get them in Seattle too.

A little irony happened, too, as KJR was mentioned on this morning's countdown during the intro to "I Think I Love You". The song was making its AT40 debut at #17, and Casey mentioned that "it's already #1 at KJR in Seattle". Nice touch!
