Guess we learn something every day on here. They also handle NBC O&O's main and
sub-channels.

Yet Atlanta does not have an NBC O&O of it's own :-/
 
^^^Word was that when they sold WVTM, WNCN, WCHM, and WJAR, NBC was planning on attempting to purchase WXIA-TV from Gannett. However, Gannett uses WXIA as a flagship, so that idea was dead on the floor. However, WXIA-TV is home to the NBC News Atlanta bureau which is located in the One Monroe Place building in Atlanta.
 
I see Encompass has other offices in L.A., New York, Minneapolis, London and Singapore.
So they are probably doing the same thing in those areas.
 
The best part about centralcasting is, you can have a local station off the air for days before somebody finds a way to contact them.
 
I had heard that KNBC was doing the Master Control for KNTV in San Jose. But according to that article, Atlanta is doing ALL the NBC O/O's!
