Atlanta Metro AM Radio Station - for sale on eBay!

I am not sure Jasper is metro Atlanta. $750,000 seems bit pricey for a 1000 watt station in Jasper.

Well, I guess that rules out WSB, huh?

Pickens County is indeed part of the Metro.

I wonder what WSB would bring?

WSB bills approx. 45-50 million, annually. Assuming a 40% margin and a trading multiple of 13 (Susquehanna just went at 13 times cash flow), one might estimate 260 million. But then factor in items like real property (towers, real estate, building and ground etc.) and you may make a jump into the 300 million range.

Susquehanna was under priced, a steal!!!! WSB-AM would be a minimum of 650 Million, forget the 40% margin.

That sounds too high. The Minnesota Vikings sold for only around $600 million this past June. I can't imagine a radio station being worth that much. <P ID="signature">______________

Radio stations are generally overpriced...

Also, single stations often sell for much more than it would in a group. It would be pretty tough to get WSB-AM without purchasing all the rest of the combo.

My guess is: Single, about $350 million

In a cluster: $200-300 million.

Cheers
