Audio Of July 4th Concert WILL Be On WCRB...But:

According to *bostonradiowatch.com, WCRB-FM 99.5 WILL in fact broadcast audio of the 4th of July Concert at the Esplanade; but remember, they now transmit 25 or more miles NNW of their former Route 128 tower site. People in the immediate Boston area who want FM Stereo sound with the telecast, may have difficulty picking up the 99.5 signal AND I wouldn't be surprised if the picture and sound are out-of-sync, something that's pretty common these days. *NOTE: the article places the holiday on Tuesday; it's Wednesday, but WCRB's stolid website backs up the story.
