AUDIO: The Last Day of WCCC's "Rock 106.9" - 8/1/14

Well, it's been over a week since it was overdue, I decided to post it right here. For those of you had missed the final day of "Rock 106.3", I got this one just for you. I recorded the final show at 12:00 PM and it continued right up until the station signed off at 5:00 PM. I was using my TuneIn app when I was away after setting my timer and ready to roll. After I checked, it has the entire 5 hours of WCCC's last day with no buffering required.

This final show features interviews including Howard Stern (which I'm not a big fan) along with several guests came by the radio station to share those great moments from "Rock 106.9's" past since it has been a rock station since 1975. Plus, some of the songs which I'm not very interested, but it sounds almost like WRRV/WRRB in the first place. After that, it featured the final moments until the last song "Walk" by Pantera faded away into the radio sunset. That final song that I'm not too good with this one, and I'm not much of a fan. Like I said, I'm not a huge fan of newer rock songs or alternative, but what a disappointed way to closed the final show with this one. After that, the station went dead air for good. That was a good way to signed off the station after nearly 40 years when they hit the airwaves in 1975 when it flipped from Top 40 to a rock format. Enjoy the full 5 hours of the end of WCCC's "Rock 106.9".
