AZTV need to switch channel with TBN to order to move to Channel 21

AZTV need to switch channel with TBN to order to move to Channel 21 in Phoenix and low-power K35HA in Prescott with KAZT call letter and TBN on Channel 7 in Prescott, low-powered Channel 27 in Phoenix with KPAZ call letters to order to get better coverage in the phoenix area with the Phoenix Coyotes games.

Might be a good idea with TBN and AZTV.
 
Tarzan no like idea. Heap big Paul and Jan say "no way" to change of dial position. They say, "We here first, Jack Londen sell insurance while we buy up FCC licenses. He no get Channel 21. Channel 21 licensed to Phoenix - should be on same cable dial position. AZTV licensed to Prescott! Prescott not Phoenix! Give Prescott station different channel! 13 better channel position than 21 anyhow! Why you bother Paul and Jan? We count money now!"
 
Back up plan for AZTV if Plan-A doesn't work

I got a backup plan for AZTV let buy full-powered KPPX Channel 51 from Paxson Communications and send back KAZT-CA Channel 27 and K57HX Channel 57 back to the FCC.

Just for the record...we're happy with channel 27. Less than 20% of the market watches over the air. It's mostly cable (where we're channel 13 on most systems in the Phoenix metro) and satellite (channel 27 on Dish, Channel 7 on DirecTV). The audience is finding us (in fact, last night, July 24 at 9:30, Frasier, which has been leading King Of The Hill, Bernie Mac and Diagnosis Murder for the past six weeks, beat Oprah on KTVK).

Good point, Michael. On the other hand, Telemundo needed a full-powered station to compete with Univision, as cable subscription among Spanish-speaking Hispanic households is lower than the general market.
 
If you bother Jan, she will start blubbering and wailing about little baby jesus.

And you don't want all that toxic makup spilling all over the set.

(I once heard that the TBN main set is so ugly that they must have had a heterosexual design it) :D

You would be surprised at how many non-"hetrosexuals" hang around those "Christian" ministries -- particularly in the music ministry.
 
We all read about Paul Crouch and his "driver" and all the hush money.

But, he still rakes it in, go figure.
 
Also, I marveled at the amount of yelling, screaming, and backstabbing that went on behind the scenes at these ministries. They would call you every name in the book (except of course so-called "curse words").

I once beat Nurse Jeff for watching Oprah...and 3TV wasn't there to show it! My nightmare is to be locked in a room with nothing but Dr Phil, Oprah and the giggly girls who do news on 3TV! YIKES :eek: :eek: :eek: Save us, AZ-TV!
 
Will do, Doc...in fact, have done...on Tuesday (August 1), Frasier at 9:30 beat Oprah on KTVK again, as well as Boston Legal on ABC15, Bernie Mac on WB6 and Diagnosis Murder on i51 to tie for 4th (with Malcolm In The Middle on My45)!

You go Michael! Do Phoenix a big favor and take out both KTVK and ABC15! Kind of like euthanasia -- eh, Doc? Their misery is far too great.
 
Yeah, but the rest of the news department is smoking something else.
