Back To The 80's Friday Night Played Yarbough and Peoples, WOW!

Back To The 80's Friday Night on Mix best known for playing "Modern/New Wave 80's" music broke their format and played Don't Stop The Music by Yabrough and Peoples. Something that used to be unheard of on the show. It was a fresh change from the same old, same old.

WTIC-FM 96.5 of Hartford ("96.5-TIC" with a Hot AC format) does their "Way-Back Weekends" here and have played that song before.
______________
The 2006 New York Yankees...on to title #27!

I'm impressed. Good for them. I'd like to see more radio stations stop underestimating their audiences.

TIC's way back weekend is awesome, they really pull some not heard in a long time stuff out during it. MIX, TIC's sister station, you'd think might pick on the sucsess of it.

I have to say I'm impressed by what I've heard of TIC's programming as well. Bostonians would be silly not to take note on what programmers are doing in Hartford.

WEll again under the a"a hit is a hit" theory, that song was a top 10 smash back in the day
