Bally Sports Detroit is off of Comcast

What that means for Detroit Sports fans?

Starting today, Comcast customers won't be able to watch the Tigers' final game of the 3-game series with the St. Louis Cardinals. The Red Wings and the Pistons recently ended their seasons and if the deal is not reach before the start of the 2024-2025 NHL and NBA seasons, Bally Sports won't be able to watch the Red Wings and Pistons when the new season starts this fall.

Ways to watch the Tigers on Bally Sports Detroit:
DirecTV / DirecTV Stream
Fubo
Bally Sports+ ($19.99/month)

I don't see all 3 Detroit Sports teams missed their payment after they filed for bankruptcy. If both the Pistons and Red Wings might haven't been pay during the 2023-2024 NHL and NBA seasons, they would've been left by Christopher Lopez. I would be in shock that both of them are no longer with Bally Sports meaning that they could end up moving the Red Wings and Pistons to either WMYD TV20 (which is owned by Scripp; shared with WXYZ and soon-to-be dropping out of the CW at the end of the summer) or WKBD Detroit 50 (Owned by Paramount/CBS; shared with WWJ, who dropped the CW late last year after Paramount not renew with them with them and the 7 other stations)

Could WMYD acquire the Pistons and WKBD acquire the Red Wings?

I would like to see Scripps (WXYZ/WMYD), Graham (WDIV), Paramount/CBS (WKBD/WWJ/Paramount plus), Fox (WJBK) and Adell (So-to-be-sold to new owner) (WADL), Peacock, Amazon Prime Sports, Netflix, Google, and an unnamed ESPN/FOX Sports/TNT Sports streaming service, which is do set to launch later this year could acquire the right to 3 major sports teams in Detroit. NBA TV will produce Pistons games, MLB Network will produce Tigers games, and NHL Network will produce Red Wings games.

It also that the either the Pistons or Red Wings could launch their own Direct-to-cosumers streaming service to stream these games. I don't know how much it cost yet.
