Bangor Market - Best Christmas commercial, perhaps best commercial ever

I want to say they ran it well in to the 90's. that's the first time I've seen the 60 second version, I always remember the 30 second one.
 
This ad started running in 1980 and ended in 2005! It might still be running, but Bangor Savings Bank went in a different direction with their advertising around the turn of the millenium. When they did, the :60 went to a :30. Partially because of the last shot with the graphic. For years they were known as "The Source". In fact, on the :60, the bit of music at the end was their tag line. It went "Here at Bangor Savings Bank, we're the source for you."

The great thing about this ad was how well everyone knew it. I know for me and for others I've talked with it wasn't Christmas until this ad started airing. You heard the music start and if you were in the house, you ran to the TV to see it. It's sorely missed, just like WABI's "Santa Claus" sponsored by Freeses. :)
