Barbara Ward, wife of longtime Vols broadcaster John Ward

There have been very few sports broadcasters with the expository skill of John Ward. You can tell that the class and dignity he always exhibits is very much rooted in his home life. I suspect none of us can even begin to imagine the pain he must feel with this loss. It sounds as if Barbara Ward was a very special and very unique individual.
