...you were both informed that Nova M's "UnreportedNews.Net Radio" (which I contribute to) picked up WQRZ in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, as its first affiliate, as well as the first affiliate for any Progressive Talk program *anywhere* in that redder-than-red state. This was at the beginning of the month. Yet, nothing on it at either http://www.talkingradio.blogspot.com/ or http://ltradio.blogspot.com/. Wanna start doing your jobs, guys?...

Sorry King, I've been taking a break from the blog. I'm easing back into it and will probably play catch-up tomorrow.

After a while, one tends to get burned out blogging about the same ol' same ol'. And I'm certainly not making a living off it, so real life takes the front seat.

Congrats on the new affiliate. Howd'ya do it?

...there's a great temptation to channel John Houseman and say "We did it the old-fashioned way, we earned it" ;-) but that's largely what happened. Sarge and I did the show for a few months and Brice Phillips, an occasional guest because of his own fight to keep WQRZ on the air through two storms -- one Katrina, one Washington Beaurocracy -- and their aftermaths, decided that it was worth the effort to carry the show and a network that bothered to have such a show on the air in the first place. Just imagine that happening with the latest Boortz or Beck pickup! ;-) ...
