Bay Area Radio Hall of Fame Luncheon

If NPR wasn't so one-sided, I wouldn't care if my tax dollars went toward its existence.

The point is they aren't so one-sided. Just because you disagree doesn't mean they're "hard left." Whatever happened to free speech? Shouldn't people be allowed to say what they want regardless of where the money comes from? Or is free speech only allowed if you're a billionaire? Nobody is bashing you. We just want to give the other side.

In the case of Meta funds, my audience is specific and limited so the idea of getting mass response is not practical.

That is precisely the reason why the occasional unsolicited e-mails I get offering to "maximize the online presence" for my site go unanswered. I honestly don't care where I turn up in a Google search, I don't need to be "liked" on Facebook or "followed" on Twitter X, or post clever TikTok videos. If someone needs my services, they know how to spell K.M. Richards.
