Bay Area TV Stations to still drop Analog in February

All of Bakersfield and San Luis Obispo-Santa Barbara will end analog on Feb. 17.
KION 46 and KCBA 35 in Monterey will end Feb. 17 and KSBW 8 will wait til June 12.All of Chico -Redding will end Feb.17 also.In San Diego all except XETV 6 will end as well.
Los Angeles will wait til June 12.

I am surprised that KRON isn't dumping its Analog Signal on February 17, since Young Broadcasting is having Major Finacial Problems and there is that extra power bill they have to pay for operating both Analog and Digital, but then again, maybe PGE will be part of Young's creditors during the Bankruptcy Hearing. ;)

Well in other markets, Medford/Ashland which has primary coverage through the extreme Northern CA area will shut down at 11:35 PM tonight and the Eureka area (Channels 6, 23, 29) will shut down at 11:59 PM tonight.

Well, just about 40 more minutes before the change to DTV of KOFY and KICU. I hear KICU will change at 11:59PM while KOFY is still Midnight. I'm staying up to watch the change of KOFY.
