Their manager is probably the person who thought Survivor wouldn't catch on and passed it to CBS.

That doesn't even begin to mention Coupling, Father of the Pride, Boomtown, The Contender, Lost (the crappy 3-episode reality show that featured the contestants defrauding residents of emerging nations and attempting to prostitute themselves, not the ABC hit), The Michael Richards Show...Damn, NBC has really been fondling the proverbial poodle in this decade, haven't they?
