Bell Media shuts down CTV transmitter in Wiarton ON because of spat with neighbour

Sounds like bad lawyering back in the day. CKCO should have bought a strip of land or negotiated a better easement when the tower was built.

So if you were the folks at Bell, how would you deal with the case of the obstinate neighbor?
 
If the neighbor actually lives there (SLEEPS there), I'd arrange to get crews and supplies in and out of there via helicopter.....the bigger/noisier, the better.
;)
 
And ferry in some demolition experts by helicopter to set remote charges to cut the guys. Then leave the whole mess for the neighbor to look at for generations to come.
 
"the land was sold..." WoW! Bell should have been all over that to purchase the land and sell the road back to the city or town, if at all possible...
(I know nothing about how complicated what I just suggested may have actually been...)
